Pair Of Hors-d'oeuvre Dishes Gallia Art Nouveau
Rare pair of "Gallia Christofle" hors-d'oeuvre dishes from the Art Nouveau period (circa 1900) in silver metal, oblong, representing tulip flowers. The grip is shaped like a tulip bud and the leaves are treated very realistically with the veins. The silvering of the dishes is in perfect condition and they are hallmarked "Orfèvrerie Gallia". They carry the model number 4252 as well as the mention "Casa Muzard" who was a Chilean silversmith. These pieces were probably manufactured by Gallia in Paris in the 1900s and sold directly in Chile (in Santiago de Chile) by the house "Casa Muzard" which has affixed its name to it. The hors-d'oeuvre dishes rest on four small foliage-shaped feet.
