"Sconces Majorelle Liberty"
Rare pair of wrought iron wall lights from the Art Nouveau period (circa 1900). The tulips are in satin speckled glass paste in the shape of a bell. Very nice movement of the wrought iron in "whips of the whips" making the appliques elegant and very representative of the Art Nouveau style. The warm color of the glass paste tulips ranging from ivory-white to lichen-green through a yellow-sand makes the lighting soft and harmonious. The wall lights are easily fixed to the wall by screwing them through the two discrete holes specially provided for this purpose in the rosette. The electrification has been completely redone. Perfect general condition of the wall lights which are ready to be installed. Mounts and glassware (H: 13.5, Diameter: 11.5) are from the Art Nouveau period. French work.
