Very Rare Directoire Period Carrier Chair 18th Century Circa 1790 Very Rare and Beautiful Carrier Chair in Lacquered Sheet Metal from the Directoire Period, with its Very Interesting, Original Lacquered Decor, Adorned with a Floral Crown Carrying a Monogram and Foliage Rinceaux, Black Background. On the top, its Pretty Gallery Decorated with Palmettes (some gaps, visible on photos). It Opens on a Front Door, Has 3 Beveled panes inserted in the Panels and Doors. (lack of cord to raise and lower) It is based on 4 bronze feet. The Interior Coating is missing. The Lacquer is in Very Beautiful State of Origin, with a Very Beautiful Patina.
