Louis XV Nantes Port Commode In Solid Mahogany
Beautiful Louis XV chest of drawers in solid Cuban mahogany, the crossbow front opening with three drawers in three rows, the mahogany boards coming from the same log are adorned with a fine framing molding. It rests on four winding feet, the low crosspieces are molded, scalloped and decorated with small volutes, the sides are cut and molded, the top in two boards, the main one in beautiful moiré mahogany, is molded with a corbin beak. , the bases are in oak. The bronze entrances and the locks are original. Nantes work around 1780 as evidenced by the bronze macaroons and pulling rings as well as the entrances decorated with stylized ribbons.
