Beautiful tapestry known as Aristoloche Adenarde of the 16th century.
In Flanders there were in the middle of the 16th century 3 workshops which had become a speciality in the weaving of cabbage leaf tapestry : the towns of Oudenaarde Enghien and Gramont later at the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th century, the workshops of the march. This tapestry exudes with this stylised fauna, in a luxuriant profusion of plants, a formalistic art with a dreamlike and wise atmosphere.
Possibility to see the tapestry in Avignon or Paris. We guarantee you a clean tapestry, in good condition, lined with its Velcro hanging system. Commitment to a full refund with transport if the Tapestry does not conform to the above mentioned guarantees. To convince you. Do not hesitate to consult my site and its opinions. Our company has existed for more than 25 years.
