Antique Art Nouveau Opals And Diamond Necklace

Old necklace formed of falling patterns held by a fine jaseron chain. The patterns, made in satin yellow gold, are decorated with arabesques, cups and flowers and each hold a pear-cut opal in tassel shape. The larger center motif retains a brilliant-cut diamond in the center. The clasp is a spring ring.

Period: 19th century
Main material: yellow gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats, eagle's head hallmark.
Total weight of the opals: approximately 1.20 carat.
Proportions: Length: 39cm, height of main motif: 3.6cm, chain thickness: 1.1mm.
Net Weight: Approx.13.7g.
Old jewel - French work circa 1890. The addition of opals has been carried out with care by our workshop.
Our opinion: A magnificent Art Nouveau jewel. The work of satin gold and the delicacy of each motif is enhanced by vibrant and colorful opals.
