"Rare Walnut And Marquetry Bed With Its Drawers, 19th Century Italy (250cm X 148cm X 118cm)"
Rare and surprising bed in walnut and walnut veneer, richly inlaid with light wood. This marquetry is decorated with foliage, flowers and foliage, and grotesques. The drawers use the full depth of this bed. Each drawer has its lock. This room also has its box spring, mattress, cushions and green silk bolsters. This rare piece of furniture rests on "lion's claws" feet. Italian work from the beginning of the 19th century, around 1830. This bed is in very good condition, with its natural wear and tear over time, and some old restoration. Does not have a key. Dimensions: 250cm wide, 118cm deep, and 148cm high. The drawers are 85cm deep.
