Framed painting signed MONTENARD 87 representing a dusty road in Provence bordered by dry stone walls with olive trees on both sides. An arriving stagecoach raises a cloud of dust, characters walking on foot.
This painting has been restored and the restoration must be resumed, especially since the varnish has yellowed a lot, which makes the work less legible. We feel that this painting represents a path crushed by heat in summer, with a cleaning, this light will illuminate the painting again. Presented in its original frame with a small plate, this frame deserves a recovery at the corners.
