Giuseppe Gheduzzi was born in Crespellano (BO) on May 12, 1889. Son of the painter Ugo, from whom he learned, like the brothers Cesare, Mario and Augusto, the first rudiments of the art. He refined his training in Turin at the Academy Albertina.Giuseppe is a talented landscape painter: he paints Venetian foreshortenings and panoramas, views of Piedmontese lakes and valleys and of the Ligurian Riviera. Unlike his brother Cesare, however, he also excelled in interior painting with orientalist characters and themes. Particularly appreciated by the public and critics are indeed its genre scenes and paintings representing the interiors of craftsmen's workshops, antique dealers and stables. He died in Turin on May 21, 1957.
