Syrian Ensemble - Late 19th Century
Set of two Dagobert style armchairs and two chairs, Syria, late 19th century.
In carved wood inlaid with mother-of-pearl, decorated with inscription in Thuluth.
The 4 seats are folding, their mechanisms functional.
A few gaps in mother-of-pearl inlays on the chairs only.
Lacking a tip (ball) hides mechanism on one of the armchairs, in no way affecting the strength of the latter.
Each seat is unique and has unique decor.
Good general condition, very nice patina.
