André Lhote - Large Pastel 64 X 48 Cms - Portrait Of Anne - 1931
Superb large-sized pastel representing a portrait of a young woman, who could be, according to my research, the model Anne FONJALLAZ, that André LHOTE represented on several occasions in the years 1920-1930.
A major painter of the 20th century, the works of André LHOTE are present in the greatest museums around the world: Tate Britain London, Museum of fine arts Boston, Museum of modern art San Francisco, Musée national d'art moderne, Paris.

Signed upper right "A.LHOTE"
On the reverse, an annotation in pencil lower right "N ° 32" as well as a pencil sketch.
The paper has a watermark "MBM (France)"
