Josephine was Empress of France from May 18, 1804 to December 16, 1809 and was also Queen of Italy from March 18, 1805 to December 16, 1809. Medallion of the royal manufacture of Sèvres signed by the sculptor Alexandre Brachard 1775-1843, active in the manufacture of Sèvres as an employee then sculptor from 1784 to 1827; he is the youngest son of Nicolas Brachard and the brother of Jean Charles Nicolas Brachard.
