Large limestone basin with many fossils and forming a cooler.
this oval basin is spectacular and of very good quality.
dating from the 1st half of the 18th century, it is superb in proportion and very nicely molded. the movement of the body with large moldings, the flared pedestal and the upper edge in corbin beak, as well as the interior hollowed out with the tool, allow us to date it.
the presence of grayish fossilized shells in the cream colored limestone is the most beautiful effect and the fossils are slightly raised on the surface being harder than the limestone.
