Belgian Cuirassier Crest Helmet Model 1845. White metal bomb, visor and neck cover. Fluted crest, lion's muzzle plaque, faux-scale chinstrap and brass rosettes. Mask grenades and rosettes in white metal. Mane and puff of marmouzet in black horsehair. Leather inner cap. Scarlet plume. Belgium mid-twentieth. Helmet worn in very good condition.
