Pendant Ancient Virgin Sapphire Fine Pearl

Ancient pendant composed of an openwork decoration of arabesques in white gold filigree which hold in the center a medal in matt gold representing the haloed virgin. "Ave Maria" is written at the bottom. A sapphire is set in a millegrain setting, and the old medal holds a fine baroque pearl in the pendant. On the back, the pendant is chiselled with a chalice and an engraving in arabesques.

Period: 20th century
Main material: yellow and white gold 750 thousandths 18 carats hallmark eagle head.
Proportions: Height: 5.5 cm, width at widest: 2.2 cm, thickness: 1.3 mm approximately.
Net weight: about 6.4 g.
