17th Century Dutch Style Frame
This pretty copy of Dutch frame made around 1880 is probably inspired by an original frame plated with a generous thickness of ebony wood. The cutting of an original frame can sometimes reveal an incredible complexity of the sections of wood used to achieve the final profile. Each large city in the Netherlands had its own models in the "golden age". Amsterdam was not Haarlem! Our frame, whose molding is adorned with guillochages, gives it this sober and elegant character typical of northern frames. Thanks to its linear profile, it can also be easily reset to the dimensions of your work and consolidated with new keys. We have been carrying out this operation for 20 years for all executives who lend themselves to it.
