Suite Of 6 XVIIIth Century Louis XVI Armchairs With Chinese Tapestry
Superb and rare suite of 6 armchairs in Louis XVI style and from the 18th century decorated with Chinese tapestry. They rest on 4 feet in fluted spindles, connected with the crosspieces, curved on the front by assembly dice with daisy decorations. The baluster-shaped armrests are fluted and the curved upside-down backrest is made of fluted bagged collones, terminated at the top by a crosspiece richly carved with ribbon and pine cone. Each armchair is furnished with a tapestry with a different Chinese decor on each of them. The colors of the tapestries remained bright and light with some accidents. All the armchairs are in very good condition, their models are rare due to 6 and of high quality.
