Art Nouveau Soliflore Vase In Sèvres Porcelain Decorated By Louis-jules Trager

Lovely soliflore vase with volutes with a cream background, decorated with stylized pink hearts of Marie, the neck decorated with ivy leaves in transparency, gold threads on the edges. Very good condition, a slight restoration at the neck.

Marks with a green manufacturing stamp dated 1897 and a red decorative stamp dated 1911.
Gold mark by the painter Louis-Jules Trager (1888-1934).

History
Louis-Jules Trager, decorator at the national manufacture of Sèvres, was best known for having designed plates and dishes evoking the memory of the Great War which were very successful. Specializing in organic patterns, Louis-Jules Trager has produced many stylized decorations of flowers and plants representative of the Art Nouveau movement.
