Half-length portrait, three quarters right, in an oval medallion crowned with laurel and decorated with lilies at the base, framed in a rectangle and resting on a base where we read: "Louis XVI - King of - France Born a Versailles - 23 Aoust 1754 Married 16 -May 1770 Presented by his very - humble and very faithful TV subject Bligny - Lancier du Roi ".
Bottom right: "Engraved by Cathelin, Graveur du Roi".
Bottom left: "In Paris at Bligny, Lancier du Roi cour du manège aux Thuilleries".
