Mahogany veneer chest of drawers stamped by Charles Joseph Lemarchand (1759-1826), Empire period. Decorated with finely chiseled golden bronzes, it opens with three drawers on the front and one on the belt. Rests on two claw feet. Condition report: restored in January 2020. Perfect condition. Charles Joseph Lemarchand is one of the official suppliers of the Crown under the Empire and the Restoration alongside Marcion, Bellangé or Jacob. We find works in many museums.
