RARE GOGOTTE MOUNTED ON A PEDESTAL
Natural concretion formed in siliceous sands, in shape of the eye of Cyclops, mounted on a modern gilt-metal base. These natural sculptures were particularly appreciated by king Louis XIV who used them to decorate the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
