Important flat desk curved on all sides in violet wood veneer inlaid with grids and rosettes. Rich garniture of gilt and chiselled bronzes such as falls, hooves, descents, handles and enclosures of drawers. Top of gold morocco with small irons, belted guilloché mold and gilded bronze spandrels. Louis XV period, eighteenth century.
