Large Bronze Oil Lamp
Beautiful bronze oil lamp with double patina and slightly "uraline" crystal tank. The foot is made of a stylized gilt bronze tree on which climbs a bronze patinated bronze putto for fruit on the branches of the tree that encloses the tank. The bobeche is a New Duplex (creation of James Hinks in Birmingham-GB-) with two parallel flat wicks with relief globe and dampers for easy extinction. All in perfect condition. Period late nineteenth. Total height 76 cm. Without the glass 49 cm.
