Lavroff George Sculpture

He first produced his works in Siberia, then in Moscow. In 1927, he was sent to France where he created many art deco animal sculptures. Lavroff's sculptures, made in bronze and ceramics by publishers, will make his reputation in the West. Returning to Moscow in 1935, Geroge Lavroff became an official artist and created monumental sculptures and busts of the Soviet rulers. Sculptor George Lavroff dies on August 29, 1991.
