18th Century Trumeau In Carved Oak
Superb and rare very large trumeau eighteenth time carved oak. This trumeau is adorned in its high part of country attributes representing tools such as fake, bat and basket garnished with seasonal vegetables, all on a background of oak leaves and foliage. All around the hole is decorated with a frieze of foliage and pomegranates, pearls and garlands. Superb sculptural work of relief of great finesse, French work and especially rare trumeau of very large size. Perfect condition, old mirror in 2 parts and recent floor.
