Here is the portrait of a little girl, seen under the brush of an American painter. It is an oil on canvas panel in very good condition. Signed lower right. Biography of the artist Lithographer, painter, writer, engraver. Studied at the University of Washington, the National Academy of Design, School of Fine Arts, Academy of the Great Thatched Cottage. In 1930 he won the Guggenheim Prize. He exhibited both in France and in the United States. Museums: Metropolitan Museum, Public Library, New York, Fog Museum, Baltimore Museum, Seattle Public Library, Honolulu Academy of Art, Seattle Art Museum, National Library, Minneapolis Institute of Art.
