A Transition Chest Of Drawers Stamped G. Jansen, Louis XV, 18th Century
Small dresser in the veneer of amaranth, sycamore and rosewood, Louis XV period, Transition style.
Beautifully inlaid with geometric patterns, this small dresser is a perfect example of fashionable furniture under the reign of Louis XV. Stamped G. Jansen, talented cabinetmaker, whose works are in various museums (Victoria and Albert Museum, Dobréee Museum of Nantes, etc).
Grey marble on the top.
Georges Jansen, got his master on April 8, 1767.
Conditions report: restored in our workshop in September 2017. Perfect condition. Bronzes and locks are reported.
