Object description :

"Mythological Scene, Neptune / Poseidon Combat With Group Of Muses, XIX Century"

Oil on canvas, framed by a contemporary stained wood frame.
There is no apparent signature except for an inscription on the back of the chassis: "Ker" (Ker Xavier Roussel ??). It is typically the subject of this painter but at the level of the material it is not the same thing.
This painting is very heavy because of it's important impasto.
This a wonderful achievement and I am sure it is a very good painter.
