Secretary Desk "bonheur Du Jour" Louis XVI Style
Intended for writing, women's favorite pastime, the "bonheur du jour" appeared in the second half of the 18th century. The one that I present to you is of Napoleon III period, around 1850 and of Louis XVI style. It is made of several species of wood, blackened pear, Amboise loupe, boxwood fillet and maple. Inside you will find a writting shelf made of red leather with golden pattern and three drawers.
