Beautiful enamelled gold watch, around 1780. Enamel dial, with Arabic numerals, Louis XVI hands in gold. Movement in golden brass, with verge escapement, chain and rocket. Superb case in gold, with enamelled bezel, and enamelled background of a scene, depicting two female characters, on a terrace. Beautiful example of the quality of 18th century enamels.
