Rare Set Gosselin Stamped Secretary
rare and beautiful set composed of a commode and a secretary to the model, these two pieces are stamped with: Gosselin, for Josse Gosselin master in 1768 whose production is rather rare, the pieces arrived are of a rare elegance and woods chosen with a special care, marquetry neat with bronzes sober but finely chiselled; it is known for its superb inlays of cubes. The furniture presented here, is a very good example, presented in good condition, quite uncommon to find such a set in this state, Provenance castle of Orléanais
