Boite Bonbonnière By Marcel Goupy (1888-1954)
Artist: Marcel Goupy
Circa 1921-1925 Colorless glass blown. Decoration of a lake landscape with polychrome enamels in light relief. Very beautiful colors. The decor, with elegant and refined lines, seems cloisonné. The great enameller on glass, Auguste Heiligenstein, collaborated with him from 1919 to 1923. Signed at the point under the base "M. Goupy". Marcel Goupy, a former student of the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, was a painter, decorator, enameller on glass and creator of ceramic models. Questions ?
