It is a complex composition of floral elements: four flowers (or four palm leaves) surrounding a rhomboid element with a flower in the center and four leaves crescent shapes reminiscent of small fish (mahi-called forms, meaning 'fish' in Persian) .The boteh its shape evokes a drop or the canopy of cypress. Some see the tongue of fire Zarathustra, a tear of Buddha or a pine cone; but this pattern was to be linked to the world since boteh floral means "flowers" in Persian.
