Julien Leopold Boilly said Jules Boilly (Paris 1796-1874). Pair of men's portraits. Charcoal, black chalk, brown wash, heightened with white chalk on brown paper. Signed and dated in pencil. Jul. Boilly Fils 1817. Annotations on the back: "Very ressamblant" and "A little ressamblant but ugly, and ten years older than the model". Fixed under glasses in antique wooden gilt frames. Very good condition (few bites on one). Height: 34cm x Width: 28,5cm.
