Word for fishermen). Red signature in front bottom left “F. Morello” for Federico Morello (1885-1945), an Italian painter specialized in beaches scenes, showing fishermen and ramblers. He worked a lot with a rectangular flattened touch, wore particularly on characters and foreground, and on soft and warm colors on cloudy skies.Black lacquered and molded frame with gilt highlights.Work from the early 20thcentury.
