Audoux Minet, Art Deco Braided Cord, France, Circa 1950, Ref. 1222
A vintage circular mirror featuring a substantial frame made of tightly twisted natural rope, in the distinctive style of Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet’s designs.
The frame consists of a wide braided rope forming a generous border, complemented by a thinner rope around the mirror surface.
Both the mirror and the backing appear to have been replaced at a later date. Includes a back panel with mounting hardware.
A beautiful decorative piece typical of 1950s–60s French design, ideal for a vintage, bohemian, or mid-century interior.
