Magnificent Neo-Gothic crucifix for private devotion, dating from the second half of the 19th century (Napoleon III period, circa 1870–1880). A collector’s piece of exquisite craftsmanship in goldsmithing and sculpture.
Christ: Finely sculpted from precious metal, featuring a high level of detail—including the drapery of the perizonium, facial features, and crown of thorns
Frame: A polylobed structure in gilded bronze, richly adorned with polychrome cloisonné enamels featuring botanical and geometric motifs
Black marble plaque cut into the shape of a lobed cross.
