19th-century Lxv-style Fireplace Screen In Gilded Wood
LXV-style fireplace screen with an undulating shape, made of gilded wood, molded, and carved with stylized shells, acanthus leaves, and foliage. It is adorned with a pointillist tapestry depicting a woman in a medallion. It dates from the late 19th century. Please note that there is wear, missing areas, and chips in the gilding. A few stains on the fabric on the back should also be noted (see photos). It is still in good condition, however.
