An Elegant English Mahogany Bookcase Dating From The Early 20th Century
The upper section features two central glass-fronted doors, embellished with elegant wooden crossbars arranged to form geometric X-shaped patterns, ideal for displaying books, antique volumes, and collectibles. On the sides are two solid doors decorated with veneered panels featuring the striking flame grain of mahogany, framed by moldings and fillets that accentuate the design.
The lower section consists of a panel with three drawers, embellished with contoured frames and metal handles, and four paneled doors that echo the decorations and grain patterns of the upper section. The molded upper frame and the clean lines of the base give the piece a solid, harmonious, and highly elegant appearance.
