An elongated octagonal coffee table made of brushed brass. The tabletop, crafted from thick smoked glass, is framed by a wide, generously thick brass band that accentuates the piece’s graphic silhouette.
The four legs, also made of brass, are designed as openwork square frames—an architectural choice that lends the piece a sense of visual lightness.
The piece is signed “Anna Nora,” engraved in cursive letters on the edge of the tabletop.The clean lines, the octagonal shape of the tabletop, and the interplay of the frame-like legs are fully in keeping with the Hollywood Regency aesthetic, a decorative style popular in the 1970s and 1980s that showcased brass in living room furniture.
