Art Deco Coffee Table In Walnut Veneer, Belgium, Circa 1920

A striking Belgian Art Deco coffee table dating from the 1920s, distinguished by its elegant geometric form and beautifully figured walnut veneer. The rounded oblong top showcases the rich grain patterns of the walnut, creating a warm and sophisticated visual effect that highlights the quality of the craftsmanship.

The top is supported by an open trapezoid pedestal, a hallmark of early Art Deco design, lending the piece a sculptural architectural presence while maintaining a sense of lightness. The pedestal rises from a stepped plinth base, reinforcing the table's clean geometric lines and refined proportions. The combination of streamlined forms and luxurious veneers perfectly captures the transition from traditional craftsmanship to modern design that defined the Art Deco movement.

Both practical and decorative, this table serves beautifully as a coffee table, cocktail table, or statement piece in an Art Deco, modernist, or eclectic interior.
