Baccarat "douai" Carafe, Made Of Cut Crystal And Fine Gold, Circa 1900 - H. 22 Cm
Toilette bottle (ideal today as a liqueur or whiskey decanter) made of Baccarat crystal, "Douai" model created in the 1890s. The cylindrical body, crafted from thick crystal, features magnificent geometric cutting adorned with palmette and star motifs, enhanced by fine gold fillets on the neck and a stylized gold star atop the large faceted stopper. A collector’s item of unquestionable authenticity: the neck and base of the stopper bear the original pairing number “13”, hand-engraved with a point by the master glassmaker.
