Sterling silver table candlestick signed by Pedro Durán, one of the historic names in Spanish silversmithing. The piece is mounted on a substantial, fluted circular base, designed for stability and presence, from which rises a sculptural, fish-shaped stem, meticulously crafted (scales, head, and tail).

The conical candle cup, also fluted, integrates seamlessly into the overall design. The interior of the base contains a removable counterweight, a common technical feature in high-quality candlesticks to improve balance during use.

The manufacturer’s signature and the official star hallmark—which has guaranteed sterling silver in Spain since 1934—confirm the authenticity and collectible value of this candlestick, which is just as suited to its original function as it is to serving as a decorative piece on a table, a console table, or in a display case.
