Louis XV-erafloor clock, case in amaranth marquetry andviolet fillet, embellished with beautiful ornamentation of finelychiseled and gilded bronze. Marked with a crowned “C.” Movement byCHAROST, with an anchor escapement and blade suspension. Dial ingilded and silvered brass displaying the hours and minutes in the centerand the seconds at 12 o’clock. In fair condition, in need of restoration.
