Faience Flamingo From The Bavent Factory
A rare and spectacular wildlife piece depicting a pink flamingo in glazed earthenware, rendered in a naturalistic style. The bird is depicted standing, its long neck elegantly curved in an “S” shape, its head slightly tilted, and its beak tipped in black. The plumage is rendered in relief and enlivened by shades of white, cream, pale pink, and rosy hues, giving the piece a highly decorative appearance.
