The Ploumanac'h Lighthouse, or Mean Ruz Lighthouse (Pierre Rouge, in Breton) is a Breton lighthouse that marks the Pink Granite Coast and the entrance to the shipping channel of the Port of Ploumanac’h, in the municipality of Perros-Guirec in the Côtes-d’Armor department of Brittany. The lighthouse has been listed in the General Inventory of Cultural Heritage since 2020, and the natural site has been a protected site in the Côtes-d'Armor department since 1940.The first Ploumanac’h lighthouse was built in 1860 along the Sentier des Douaniers (GR34) trail, at a location known as the Pointe de Mean Ruz, to warn of the dangerous rocky coastline of the Pink Granite Coast. Destroyed by the German army on August 4, 1944, at the end of World War II, it was replaced by the current lighthouse in 1946, which was first lit in October 1948.
