19th-century Silver And Gold Bangle Bracelet
Artist: Charles Clicquot
A rigid bracelet made of solid silver and gold, decorated with flowers and leaves in relief on bands incised with foliage on the first half and smooth on the second half, which ends with an incised scalloped border.
The clasp is a ratchet clasp with a safety chain.
Two wild boar’s head hallmarks: 800 parts per thousand, Paris 1838–1962
Master Goldsmith: Charles Clicquot 1851–1868. Hallmarked in 1848. The jewelry shop: *Le Bracelet*, 50 Rue Beaubourg, then 84 Rue Montmartre (1851), then *Passage Saulnier* (1868). He partnered with Mr. Muiron from 1851 to 1868. He took over the business on his own in 1868.
