Vintage small ladies' watch; an antique pendant adorned on one side with an engraving of a bouquet of flowers, the centers of which are set with small rose-cut diamonds, all delicately chased.

On the other side, there is a smooth, faceted glass pane.

The bezels are made of green gold and delicately engraved with floral motifs.

The side with the glass opens via a hinge at the top, revealing a compartment designed to hold a photo, a memento, or a lock of hair, much like an antique locket.

The diamond-set side opens to reveal a gold dust cover delicately engraved with initials.

The winding mechanism is still intact, and the ring serves as a bail.

Period: 20th century
Main material: rose and green gold, 750 thousandths, 18 karats, horse-head hallmark.

Dimensions: Diameter: approx. 2.3 cm, height: approx. 3.5 cm, thickness: approx. 11 mm.

Net weight: approx. 5.1 g.

Our opinion: This charming antique watch arrived incomplete. We decided to transform this antique piece into a medallion pendant rather than destroy it and melt it down. A more than successful redesign!
