Pair of Baroque chairs in walnut and burl walnut with inlay,
Lombard-Venetian manufacture (late 17th / early 18th century).
Featuring a tall, shaped backrest with turned finials,
they display a central geometric burl walnut panel
framed by refined herringbone stringing.
The seat rests on a shaped apron with book-matched veneer,
while the lower section features turned front legs—combining bulb and spool forms—
joined by a splendid, undulating X-stretcher with a central spinning-top element.
The chairs are structurally sound and solid,
in good condition with added front corner braces and
original patina, showing normal signs of age.
