Baluster-shaped porcelain covered vase, resting on a pedestal and a square base. Late 19th century, in the style of the Sèvres porcelain manufactory.
Model with a fixed lid, integral with the body of the vase.
The piece features a luminous sky-blue background, centered on the main face of a rocaille medallion in white reserve surrounded by gilding, adorned with a bouquet of hand-painted polychrome flowers. The neck is flanked by two applied handles featuring a chimera-head motif. The lid’s knob is shaped like a pinecone and made of gilded bronze.
On the underside of the base, there is an apocryphal mark and the original mounting with a through-threaded rod and metal nut.
